That would be $272. delivered to my home...Not a bad price I'm thinking. I don't know about it's strength though. Seems there would be a lot of flex and wobbling with only one bearing/mounting point.. I think I would look at a few more before making my decesion. I'd prolly make my own if I wanted other than stock.. That single hinge point bothers me somewhat. Big JIm

but the good thing is that the swing-out rests on the bumper... carrying all of the tire weight.
i bought mine through 4wd.com... but it was $500+ 5 yrs ago.

I don't think it would be easy to beat that deal. It stated that a high lift, d-rings, and the gerry cans come with it.
The issue with the single mounting point on the swing is not really a big deal unless the swing is in the open position where it cannot rest on the other side of the bumper.

Yeah thats a pretty nice carrier. I saw it the other day. There are quite a few single pivot point carriers on the market now. I have never seen this much stuff mounted to one carrier. You would be getting close to 500# on that one pivot point. I am sure the spindle is rated for 3500# but not loaded straight out like this would be. Seems like it would bend the bumper itself. Granted most of the time it does have another weight distribution point, the swing out fully loaded might be a problem. And Brown, read it again, the D-rings, jack and cans do not come with it, just the mounting points. The price is good tho, right now at $200, just this style tire carrier alone with the bumper go for $500. Its a good value for an all in one, Mr Haney style bumper.
