I love em' .. I have been using them for just about 30years now .. so as mentioned .. center console is now mounted .. got the gauges in .. also started to re-do the dash again !!! I think this dash has been the hardest thing of all .. you look at it all the time , and I'm trying to get the "best" aesthetic value I can .. I hope this is the last time !!! ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/MY%20Trekker/HPIM1785.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/MY%20Trekker/HPIM1786.jpg) .

I'm satisfied with the look now (3rd time), so I can now move on .

Ash trays are great for loose change and random screws anyway... thats what I figured as well !! .. got everything in the dash "mounted" today .. made all the little clips and mount brackets .. and welded them all in place . so now they can easly be removed , but wont be falling out . I have also changed my plan for the dash .. I wont be doing the woodgrain .. I'm going to paint the main dash and center console the "inferno red" , same color as the outside , with the cover/pad being grey leather to compliment the interior all the dash trim is going to be painted black I now just have a few little dash lamps and such to wire , and I believe then , I am ready for the tear down .
