got it out today .. I got the mudflaps on , rear tail pipe and tip , 4WD emblems and som other little things .. ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/MY%20Trekker/SSPX1108.jpg) You know, I was never a huge fan of Trekkers, but I'm thinking now it's just because I've never ever seen a clean one. Too bad the lowest part of the rear doesn't flip down; seems like it could be a pain to lift things over in the long term. You might have mentioned it already, but does the top come off like a 4Runner? Absolutely amazing work, and the factory graphics just make it perfect.

thanks .. I'm not sure these are "practical" units anyway .. they are proto type 4runners , and pretty rare , so if you were to find one .. well who am I to say ? but I think they are a piece of history and should be saved , not beat up ! When I was doing this one , I was actually thinking of having a "tailgate" and "hatch" .. much like the landcruser BJ60 series .. I was going to do it , but then I didnt want to take away from the integrety of the original trekker . + with the sub box in there , there really isnt a whole lot of room for "extras" .. some luggage for the "car show circut" .

My FIRST show and shine .. I was able to get a few hours of seat time in VERY happy .. also filled the tank up with 94 Octane and HUGE differance , no more supercharger ping !! ran flawlessly .... Friday night was the parade .. what a blast !! People lined the route , while about 800 cars went by . I felt very proud when people would point and gimmy the "thumbs up" .. little kids were " oohh look at that monster truck" ;D .. very cool !! ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/MY%20Trekker/p1040440.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/MY%20Trekker/p1040442.jpg) Saturday Morn , I arrived a bit late to the show . Turns out my DD/work truck decided to "spit" the starter out of it's place .. The top ear/mount flange broke right off , and the lower bolt had worked it's way almost completly out .. so i had to call a cab to go get the trekker . when I finally got there , I ended up in obscurity .. although quite a few people were able to view the truck , not nearly the exposure I was hoping for .. ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/MY%20Trekker/SSPX1123.jpg) day 2 was a little better , was right on the main street .. lots of exposer ... ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/MY%20Trekker/PICT0007.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/MY%20Trekker/PICT0005.jpg) .
