Mudrunner
It runs good but it could run better. It idles a bit high for my liking. Besides I hate a leaky motor in my driveway! The 22r is an easy rebuild in my shop for me to do over the winter. This way I can have something to do, eliminate all the leaks and have something more reliable for the long term.

I've found that they have rebuild kits for the turbo for less than $100 and thought I do that too if it was worth while. Since it sound like a waste of money I'll just run it until it blows and do up the turbo later.

Body Damage is Cool
A first generation 4runner with a V6 is a good base for a swap to a later 3.4 V6. And of course then if you still feel it's underpowered you can add one of those emissions approved TRD superchargers for heaping helping of horsepower. -- Matt
