To bad about the situation that you had. NOw that is a very nice Sportage !!!! I think that you got really lucky in finding that one. All the Sportages that they sold abroad always seem to look better than the ones in the U.S.
That one looks like it was kept in "Moth Balls" for about 5 yrs.

Thanx Hydra. Ya I was real lucky with my find. It has done 130 k's but is in a beautiful condition with leather interior. I will just fit larger tyres, something like 215 80 15 like my previous car.

that in no way looks like it couldn't be repaired. i know there are different laws over there, but, that actually looks pretty simple.
glad you're ok, but seems like a drastic step for a little ding.

Wow: both were/are beautiful. The left tail light on the blue one seems to be intact ! I suppose the right front end had suffered too. ANd..tropical weather are good for cars: no way a 8/6 YO car could look like that in cold Canada with salty roads... NOw...what is that stylish engine top! Aftermarket custom?

I bet that it is stock!! And the bar in the front looks exactly like a "Cobra" from Germany.....(Pricy)!

Nice Sportage! That thing is hot!
As for the old one, too bad they didn't let you keep it as well, take the sawzall to it and really go crazy on that one for your trail rig
2002 Sportage 4dr 4x4 soon to undergo an Extreme Makeover!
