Thanx for the sentiments, guys. The car was really damaged badly in the front. The right side hit the opposite wall and the whole steering box assembly broke off. Body parts are a problem and it would have cost more to get it from overseas than what the insurance paid me. You don't get reliable and proper panel beaters anymore. We call these shops panel fitters these days.
Any way, I did not have to pay in too much for my new car. It sometimes is not worth it going thru all the trouble with after care from the panel beater shop.
That nice looking engine is a stock plastic cover like they do with all the new cars these days. The front bar and sidebars are local stuff made of stainless steel.

I don't know why they added the engine cover, what's the point of it?
My Sporty is an 02 and it originally had the engine cover but the previous owner must have lost it or something because it's missing. Fine with me, one less part to remove when I want to work on it
But having said that... your Sportage does look really nice! Good find!

Cheers ads yeah but aren't those side bars just 1 more thing to get crunched in if you go offroading? I mean they stick out farther than stock... aren't they just going to get in the way?
