The guy i got the springs from called me today said i can get his 2" spacers. So what people are saying this is gonna give me 4 inch lift. looks like im gonna have to modify them for the 3". I know i measured the rear tj springs and they are about 12" long. So im gonna go get the spacers friday. Then i guess ill go from there...

I would confirm what springs you have before messing with the spacers. My tj106 springs are 12" tall as well and they go with the 2" spacer for the 4" lift. Not sure if the tj104 spring is shorter or just has less spring strength so you may have the right equipment already. The rear springs should take less than 20 min to put in so I would just throw them in real quick and see how much lift you have. That way you will know what you have and whether you need to locate new springs or get the 1.5" spacer instead.
If all else fails, get a hold of the guys at upyourkia.com, very helpful info regarding this stuff! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Just out of curiosity, I have done a 40mm suspension lift and I have some scuffing from the tires on one side, which is tolerable. Would putting in coil spacers increase the scuffing? Would you need to do something with the panhard rod?

I know that as the transverse rod in the rear and yes, you should experience more rubbing with more lift if you don't center the rear axle. Dave Scott makes a adjust kit for this.

i would say redoing the panhard rod to recenter the axle would be a good idea with even just the 40mm lift.
or you could always buy the 4" lift (100 mm approx) off of me, and it will come with the adjustable panhard bar!!!

Not right now thanks. I will keep it in mind though. Right now I have to get another front diff and the left and right drive shaft.
