Simple idea! And who said the Greeks went down hill after Plato!!!!
KEVIN: Make sure you tie in your springs and don't overstrech your e-brake cables with the extra travel!!
fokion: Just wish you had pictures of the 3:1 transfer case and gears and how the guy made them, or prints or something....want to build one....maybe even 4:1

Everet: The 3"UPYOURKIA Rocks! Ground clearance much needed. Fokion: Your design is tight! May have to ask for a set if the offset wheels don't work. I run RAV4 shocks now though.
I Ordered two 15X8 ProComp 98 series steel wheels w/2.5" Backspacing. (Live in Alaska so delivery is 1 month)
Question: Does anyone run this size on the rear. Any issues? Question: If I run those on the rear and 3.75" Backspacing on the front will I have any issues? Besides front bumper clearance. Your experience and theorys are much appreciated.

Sporty,
I'm currently running the 3" UpyourKia Lift with no body lift. I have 31"x10.5"x15" tires on 15 x 8 rims with 3.75" backspacing on all four wheels.
I had to trim the front bumper, flatten the weld seams in the rear of the fender wells and trim the rear of the fender and bottom edge of the inner fender liner to get clearance. I had serious rubbing issues prior to that.
Runs fine now, even off roading. If you go with smaller tires, I don't believe you'll have the rubbing issue.
01 Convertible; Electric Fan; 3" Up Your Kia lift spacers; Tj 104's; 31x10.5x15's on Centerlines; Rear LSD. GONE, all I have left are a few spare parts and the wheels.

Dryver: I'm thinking of staying with a smaller diameter for now. Like some 29/10.50-15LT, TSL/SX Super Swampers. I'm not ready for any major body modification yet. But it sounds like an option if it comes to it. Thanks.

I run 30 x 9.5 x 15's (240 x 80 x 15') with only a little scuffing on the left side rear shock. I think it's only when I go 4wdriving. Cant' be sure though, I haven't stuck my head out the window to have a look while the car is going. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
