I want something that will fit an 8" Wheel and have good Snow/Ice/Mud rating. These are the tires I was looking at recently:
Tread Write Mud - 29x30x8 With Kedge Grip Overall Diameter: 29 & 3/8" Tread Depth: 17/32nds Section Width: 10.50" Approved Rim: 7-9"
Nokian Vatiiva M/T - LT30X9.5R15C Overall Diameter: 29.3" Tread Depth: 19.5/32nds Section Width: 10.10" Approved Rim: 6.5-8.5"
Interco TSL Radial - 30x10.50R15LT Overall Diameter: 29.7" Tread Depth: 21/32nds Section Width: 10.20" Approved Rim: 8"
YOKOHAMA Geolandar I/T G072 - P235/75R15 105Q Overall Diameter: 28.9" Tread Depth: 13/32nds Section Width: 9.5" Approved Rim: 6-8"
I have to wait for tax returns before I can even think about it, so says the wife. Atleast she can't control my thoughts...
2002 4dr Kia Sportage 4X4 Tires:235/75/15, Wheels: Black 15x8 Steel ProComp 2.5" B.S., Hubs:Warn Manual, Lift:3" UPYOURKIA, Trailer Hitch, Cargo Rack, Clinometer.

i put the 104 springs on which give a 3" lift from stock but the 2" spacers up front which give a 4" lift and im still sitting level, i belive with a 4" rear lift you would have a 1" rake but im ok with sittin level to get the added front clearance...id go with it how it is if i were you not cut 1/2" off...just my 2 cents How's it working out for you guys with the 2" spacers in front and the 104 rear springs? Have any pics?

heres mine after my lift, just wish i had some before pictures cause it looks huge now...it has 2" spacers up front(4" lift) and tj 104s(3" lift) in rear, 30x9.5 tires on factory rims, and trimmed front bumper...the only issue was a lil rubbing from my left rear tires inside tread on my shock if i cornered too hard or went over a good bump...this issue went away when i put my winter wheels on which are american racing 15x8 snow rims for a ford so they have back spacing, ill post some new pics in a few days...if you go back in august theres another topic,"post pictures of your kia"....look here http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/showf...&an=0&page=5#Post1164241 <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Thanks Lonnie. I was thinking of putting 31's on a setup like this, not sure though, I don't mind trimming things a little, don't want to go hog wild though.

Got my rear springs the other day. No tags, but they're off a 2000 sport with hardtop, guys on the jeep forum say they are prob 105AA. I'm going to go with the 2" upyourkia spacers in the front. The guy who gave me the springs threw in the isolators for the springs also. Do we even use these?
