Ta Chris, yeah am gonna revert to original springs if/when I get the 2" strut spacers. Am finding the rear TJ 104 spring to give quite a comfy ride compared to the seemingly stiffer Kings. Am looking up exactly which rear shocks to go with, the OME site doesn't list any RAV4 items, but AFTER RE READING ALL 35 PAGES OF THIS THREAD, it seems that you got yours via ARB.
Seems stock 1999 RAV4 extended shock length is 617mm which makes for easier searching thru shock catalogues.
I've tried finding Korean links for the extended forks (50mm) and also want a front locker plus 5.38 sets, do you still have any contact info for these??

Dave, Try these contacts: jinsung.park@colaon.com Trackfinder,NAme is Jin difflocks, adjustable panhard rod ? picorp@hanmail.net PICORP (Ring and Pinions, difflocks and extended forks Name is Michael From memory you should be able to source the ring and pinions, extended forks and adjustable panhard rod if required from Michael. In another thread I seen you can now source difflocks through him. It has been nearly 12 months since people have made contact that I can work out so hopefully the email address's still work. Hope this info helps and let us know how you go. Cheers, Chris

Onya Chris
Am currently perusing the masterjeep.com site, has all the goodies I'm after, including TrackFinders. With the extended forks, is it one set needed for both sides, or 2 sets, one for each side?
Does the PICORP contact work for masterjeep?

Thanks jb Just a note, shock measurements are taken from the top mounting surface (bottom of the stud) to the eyelet centre, so yours should be roughly 620mm. I currently have my reaer jacked up with the shock undone, at max travel before the spring falls out is 620mm.
Did you swap the bottom bushing/eyelet from the original shock into these ones?
Cheers Dave

Cheers Dave I did wonder if I had measured them properly, the bottom insert is a Procomp item my mate had kicking around from when he put ES9000's on his lifted Cherokee.

I bit the bullet and have ordered a TF front locker and a set of 5.38 gears. I remember someone on here offering tips for gear setup, still around??! Do I need to buy a shim kit etc?
I was told that +50mm front forks weren't available, so got creative and made my own 50mm strut spacers - not as straight forward as I'd hoped lol.
With the 50mm spacers installed (standard springs)and at full extension, the outer CV boot rubs on the lower wishbone and the inner rubs on the top fork bolts. Am I the only person to encounter this problem???
Edit: - I guess if I offset my lower spacer plate (outwards) it'll clear the shaft/forks, but wont help the outer CV/wishbone problem...

Do I need to buy a shim kit etc... Here's a link to my thread on my diff gear upgrade. It might answer a few questions for you... 5.38 R&P Upgrade!!!
