Onya Chris
Any idea if they are rear shock units only, or front strut assemblies?

Hi Davey, we're going to lift the body off all mounts at once, the new sills on my Sportage should be more than strong enough to take the weight of the body shell, they're 3mm wall 4"x2" box section.

Can someone please post a pic of their front struts with lift spacers installed, at full droop (down travel)? Ideally from the front of the vehicle. How is it your upper fork mounts don't hit your inner CV boots?? This is what happens to my setup with either 50 or 40mm spacers fitted...

So I fabbed a diff drop to go with my 50mm spacers, to clear the struts, fitted it all this arvo, now my front end sits higher than the rear Gotta trade in my Jeep 104 springs for some 106's .....

Yeah I know, but they're no longer available So I made a diff drop instead.
Are your rear Jeep lift coils longer than standard, or just stiffer?

They were 35 mm lift TJ jeep soft top springs? Perfect height match for the front suspension lift

Need a Spot

So I'm working on a 2001 sportage. It's for my uncles and will only be used for driving on the beach, and short drives to town. No serious off-road. So I'm ordering front lift from Everet, and know what to do with rear. Everet told me I need to talk to PeaBody where to get rear, and maybe front limited slip diffs. I just need wider tires, and locked up so it don't get stuck in the sand literally.

If the vehicle isn't going to be used for any serious off-roading, I'd look into the clutch-based LSDs for the rear at a minimum... and the front if you want to get a little more grip in 4wd. Everet said there's a guy that posts over on the other KIA forums that can get good prices on dealer parts. I think that would be a good place to start.

1997 Sportage 4x4, auto-trans, Warn manual hubs, 4" UPYOURKIA front lift, TJ 106AA rear springs, 2-5/8" body lift, 31x10.50 treads, SmittyBilt SRC front and XRC rear bumper, swing-out tire mount, OBX LSD front diff, Track Finder rear locker, 5.38 R&Ps and... really crappy gas mileage!
