Yeah that looks pretty beefy. I'll send the guy an email and see if he still has them available. The lift probably won't happen til this spring or summer.

does Dave's Rocksport still exist? all the link I find are dead. Was he making custom springs? I saw he had them for all 4 corners, that woulda been sweet.

Haven't seen Dave post anything in a few years. I don't think he is building anything. For rear springs, just use Jeep TJ rear springs. If you want new, get them from RockAuto. If you want to get lift springs for the front, try King Springs in Australia. Why go with springs when you can do spacers? Haha Everet <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Likely I will be contacting you soon for one of your kits. I was thinking springs for the front would be nice to stiffen the ride just a bit. But I dont have unlimited funds and shipping from australia vs shipping from the states, well i know which one will be cheaper. Do you have any adjustable pan hard rods? That is the other piece I would like because although lots of guys say no issues with less than 100mm of lift, there was someone who had 40mm of lift and had rubbing on the shock in the rear driver side. my understanding is this is becuase the stock panhard bar will pull the axle over when the rear is stretching out. is this correct or do i misunderstand? I started posting on local jeep sites today looking for some 104AA's.

Most guys that rub are running different shocks than the Gabriel ProGuard and they are running stock wheels. If you run something with 4" of backspacing, you shouldn't rub. Don't make a panhard rod yet, maybe this year. Everet

Yea I had already decided I want to push the wheels out further but after checking out the price for H&R 1" spacers Im thinking its more economical to just find some steel wheels with the backspacing that I want. or maybe some Suzuki wheels, I have to research this more. So in that case I wouldnt have to worry about the rear rubbing so much, but i would still like the axles to be in line with each other. I did see someone just made a drop bracket for the panhard bar, which would probably be easier and cheaper but I havent seen any really good instructions on exactly how to make it so it lines the axles back up.
I just noticed today the notes about the CV boots rubbing with the spacers on the front. Fixes seem to be extended fork, which from what i read seem to be only availale from Korea now, and I dont really want to import anything from korea. or dropping the diff. dropping the diff seems pretty easy, but does this then lift the front even more? how badly do the boots rub? is it something I will really have to worry about?
I have read this post about 2.5 times through now, there is a ton of awesome info and it did answer alot of my questions, thanks to all those who contributed so that those of us who are late to the party can catch up.

I have read all 9 pages twice but I have not seen this posted (unless I over looked it) so I will ask.
What is the measured spring o.d. for the 104AA & 106AA springs? I bought a pair of springs almost 4 years ago from a local salvage yard but there were no tags on the springs. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
The salvage yard did put a tag with the VIN on the springs. The 4th digit is F. Viewing the JK Forum's spring thread the "F" means it was a GVW 4000-5000 lbs which would lead me to believe the springs are 104AA.
I honestly don't feel like going through the 78 pages of post on the JK Jeep forum to see if it is listed. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
