Hello again!
I'm in need of assistance for a fan clutch replacement. After the $400+ dealer and local shop quotes, I figure this can't be all that hard, right? I hope.
Any helpful tips, steps, special tools I might need?
Thanks!!!
2002 Kia Sportage 4x4, stock. Yes, I'm boring. I'm looking to change that.

I still have my clutch and fan from when I switched over to an electric fan. If you are interested pm me. I really recommend putting on an electric fan though. I saw about 10% improvement in gas mileage when I switched.

Hey,that's perfect. Found the directions and even the part super cheap. Friggin mark ups.
I thought about the electric fan kit but it didn't look like a clean install and that part had me worried. I need it to run without remembering to switch it on and stuff and not run after the car is off.

Just put in a relay that is fed by a "hot with key on" so that it won't run when key is off. Actually, it is only a 2 cocktail job. I will be changing to a SPAL FAN-PWM when I get the 3-row radiator made and installed.
