I've found that the manual won't work using Firefox, but works fine for me with Internet Explorer...

Very good point!

Anyone know where to get the current "Plug-In" From?

So as of today kiatechinfo is behind a paywall-which is what all the other manufacturers with online service manuals did right from the beginning, but with everyone else they have downloadable PDFs. Kinda sucks.

It does suck, I have not had to work on the sportage for a long time, now that I have 2 problems at the same time, I went to the sight the cost is more then I can pay. What sucks they make a repair manual for the New Sportages but not ours.

Follow this link to find a downloadable 1995-2002 Kia Sportage service manual in .pdf form. You will need a program (like WinRAR)to unzip it as well. Props for the link go to Ace1564 over on kia-forums.com
