thats the idea damkia....... i need a sample locker unit so as to test for the hardness(rockwell) measurement...then its a case of machining up a set to actually fit our housing........ like you said no point reinventing the wheel.......

A bulk order would not save much on the cost of the item, but it would cut costs on shipping each unit individually over seas. This would help us state side people save some money.
Less shipping costs means a greater chance to get enough orders together to help get the units state side.

How are these lockers going to differ from the TF locker?
We need to make sure we get ones made for the front that are 26 spline and the rear that are both 26 spline and 28 spline.
97 and older Sportages state side have 26 spline rears and 26 spline fronts.
98 - 02 Sportages state side have 28 spline rears, but still have 26 spline fronts.

trackfinder lockers are just like the autolocker style diff you are building
i wonder which would be cheaper and which would be easier to ship
by the way the trackfinder locker has a very well translated manual
98 sportage: warn manual hubs, upyourkia spacers, 104 tj springs, 235/75/r15 BFG T/A KO, tracker rims, cone air filter, custom cat-back with a skunk2 muffler. gonna be a 2.3L
