I'm running the OTR's. The M/T's and M/T ultras look pretty tough and probably would have ordered the ultra's if they were available. The OTR's are a little noisy but are wearing like iron. The next set I get will be the ultra's. Peterson's 4x4 magazine did an article on them and give them high marks. I don't think I will ever buy a new tire after having these. You cannot find a better value. Keep us posted on your decision. 33 by what? You might have a hard time fitting 33s under the Sportage unless they are only 9.50 wide even if you have Dave's 4" lift.

The most important thing about the tires is their measured diameter. Anything more than about 32" is going to catch on the bodymount near the firewall on the chassis under moderate turning/full compression. No amount of lift will avoid this.
Having said that, most manufacturers are "optimistic" about their tire sizes, a "33" may in fact measure 31 inches when mounted.
12.5" wide may be an issue with clearance to the firewall near the "A" pillarduring turns. The last thing you want to do is to crush the "A" pillar with your BFH as this would seriously compromise the strength of the body, possibly leading to windscreen fractures, further spot-welded seam movements/seperations, and other assorted issues (door drops, squeaks/rattles as the body shakes itself to bits)
Lesson: Take a tape measure with you when buying tires

If your wheels are 15 x 8 and have the flat side to the inside this pushes the wheels out a long way. When you turn you will have rubbing issues on the front end. You will also get lots of rubbing on the body on the rear end as you articulate the axle.
I've run 10.50" tires on the stock wheels that have the flat side on the outside and there is some rubbing on the inner fender well under full articulation. However, the tire was stuffed into the wheel well with very little to spare on the outside.
With a 33 x 12.50 tire, you'll want to setup your bump stops to keep the rear wheels from coming in contact with the body under articulation.

33inch tyres will fit........as i have 34/9.5r15 tyres on mine..... but its a massive job to get them to fit..... like a few have said...... the body mount at the rear of the front guard is the biggest headache......but with some body work they will fit......
