Either of you guys experiencing the sluggish 80 series brake pedal? Not at all! I haven't done my rears yet, plan to do so shortly. Here is what I did: 1) front knuckle rebuild and used new OEM rotors 2) 100-Series pads 3) new soft lines up front 4) the key: a buddy brought over a Motive Power Bleeder. I did the traditional bleed and wasn't real thrilled, then I used the Motive bleeder - wow. 15 minutes by myself w/ a 10mm wrench and the brake pedal is hard with immediate action.

If you are talking of the 4 piston caliper I use them on a variety of other cars too. Here is a set on my 1972 dodge Colt. ![[Linked Image]](http://www.vermontel.net/~dcma/BC-Rfront.jpg)

I did not think of this earlier. Here are some Toyota calipers on the front of my Gen 1 Monty. After decades of a salty life it is far from pretty. With the 12" rotors it stops just fine also. The rear is set up with Girling calipers also with 12" rotors. ![[Linked Image]](http://www.vermontel.net/~dcma/M1R1140063.JPG)
