After laughing at a few coworkers who started on this, I tried the electronic cigarettes and am totally hooked. The best thing is I've smoked one regular cigarette since starting and that was just nasty........
I know nicotine can do weird things to your body and brain, but imho this is almost perfect for those of us who tried to quit smoking and always went back. I'm getting the nic rush, but none of the nasty chemicals found in processed tobacco.
I've started with the Vapornine Nebula, which has a nice draw, good vapor, and a nice throat hit. A buddy let me top off with some 24mg 555 liquid while I wait on stuff from Johnson Creek (I ordered non-PG liquids), and it is very nice - smooth with a nutty taste.
Is anyone else here "vaping"?

EDIT...I had never heard of this...so I went to check it out...apparently, we have an Amish firewall..it blocks 'tobacco related' items.
Wow.

My wife bought me an Instead. I have not tried it yet. I did take a few pulls off hers. They seem to work good. Actually quite satisfying.
Well on my way to becoming that eccentric old man in every town.(crazy as a s#@thouse rat) With a yard full of desireable old vehicles that tells you, Sorry they're not for sale..... Someday I'm going to fix them.

I worked in a machine shop and all the machinists were "smoking" those one day, our supervisor about sh!t himself when he saw all the machinists "smoking" one day. Then they got him started, he liked it most because they look just like cigarettes but he can be puffing away on it in the grocery store or the "yuppie mall" and nobody can do anything about it. The guys said you can even use them on airplanes and other non smoking places besides the machine shop.

I quit cold turkey as well. Did it in January. It seemed easy because I'm lazy. All I have to do is nothing. How much easier can it get???
