My wife works for a kia dealership.she wants to get rid of our 01 4x4 sportage for a brand new 4x4 sportage..I dont really want to let the 01 go.I hear the new sportys suck offroad.any input would be great.
01 Kia sportage,Removed front bumper,Warn manual hubs,
Soon To Come.Cb,4"lift,31's,Custom front bumper,Rock sliders,Winch,Roof rack,Hitch

if you want to wheel it and upgrade, then upgrade to the sorento, otherwise keep your sporty

i think you would be looking at doing a custom lift. i was actually looking at my mechanics sorento and trying to figure out a lift for it.

if the sporty is paid off keep it i doubt u'll get much for it in trade

we found someone that will buy our 2001 sporty for 4 grand.Were looking for something new.And the sorento will have a warenty.

I would just keep in mind that in many cases if you modify the vehicle, you can void the manufacture's warranty. If you really want to mod, you're still best off keeping the Sporty even if you buy the Sorento.
01 Convertible; Electric Fan; 3" Up Your Kia lift spacers; Tj 104's; 31x10.5x15's on Centerlines; Rear LSD.
GONE, all I have left are a few spare parts and the wheels.

Is the diesel version available in the U.S.?
2001 Sportage, TJ 106's, Everet spacers and bumpstops, Bilstein shocks on the rear, cone filter, Crager wheels, 235-75-15 Goodyear tires. Custom front winch bumper by Dave Scott. Currently DOA, but it is a work in progress.
