Do I need to separate the hub and rotor from the knuckle?

2001 Sportage, TJ 106's, Everet spacers and bumpstops, Bilstein shocks on the rear, cone filter, Crager wheels, 235-75-15 Goodyear tires. Custom front winch bumper by Dave Scott. Currently DOA, but it is a work in progress.

Any suggestions on getting the nut off the control arm?

Any suggestions on how to get the remains of the bearing out?

i used a flat csrew driver that i hit with a file to make it have a better edge to get between the wall and bearing race and go around it all the way then cut it in half poped right out.

I'll try that, been using a chisel and no luck, been at it for 5 hours now trying to get the thing fixed and the bearing wasn't in that bad of shape so it's probably something else.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
There is no need to remove the tie rod. I didnt and for the race of the bearings one of the bearing has a bigger lip than the other knock that one out first with a hammer and a punch then have some one smooth sailing for the other one. The needle bearing i tapped it with a sharp chisel and it broke right out.

2001 sporty, tj rear springs with rav4 shocks, ford alloys machined centers with 30x9.5x15, front spacers. more upgrades to come.

Thing is that I can lock in the right side and hear the noise. If I lock in just the left side I don't hear it. Sounds like I'm hitting a speed bump. Maybe the halfaxle is shot, I'll try that next, it's got a tear in the boot anyways.
