As long as you keep moving the shape of the hood creates an air bubble. If you stop moving shut off the engine ASAP. I have never crossed water that deep but I wouldn't worry about it.

It's all fine untill the water gets into your passenger footwell. No amount of snorkel will help you then <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" /> x3 ![[Linked Image]](http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/images/smiles/icon_redface.gif) ![[Linked Image]](http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/images/smiles/icon_redface.gif) ![[Linked Image]](http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/images/smiles/icon_redface.gif) Yeah....big time <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

back to the muffler coment, as long as the engine is running no water is going up that pipe, mine is off in front of drivers rear tire and goes under deep and yes water on floor board no problems except door locks worked by them selfs for awhile till she dried out. but in small waves like in the photo ,do that everytime we go wheeling and i have never had a issue yet,

I think DamKia is talking about the computer under the passenger foot panel.

Getting the Wheeling Fever

Well before i put my lift i went through water for about 100 yards and there was three deep spots about 20 feet each hole that i had to put side windows up and water was over the hood. The only issue i had was at the end of the third big hole i lost power due to the clutch fan wich got to go soon. Happens often. But i still made it. Also its hard to take pics of myself when i go as i am the only one that usually brings my camera.
