It's built by some one in Bulgaria. There is a link to the build in the video description, which would probably be very helpful; but I can't read the bulgarian language. Maybe some one can help? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZuVlVM7Flw&NR=1&feature=fvwp

Besides it stalling out twice, and it looks like they used front and rear axles from a Lada Niva (cossack) not a bad job!
although the taste in music left me laughing!

They posted on tthe Outer Limits website in English in Australia. THey used the same diff set up as Dave (I think) Here is the link. http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/phpBB2/ftopic155768.phpALso this one wasn't bad of lifted Kias, shame the music was disabled. You should recognise a few of the Sporties. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38NZZABTqtkCheers, Chris

Not the same one...look at the rear diff of Donald82 and the youtube at 00:42. Spring setup a bit different too

No big loss, the music was pretty obnoxious anyway.
BTW when joking about the open diffs I wasn't talking about the Kia but rather, the second vehicle (whatever it was) which they were showing getting stuck. Probably wouldn't have gotten stuck if it didn't have open diffs. You could see one front and one rear wheel spinning the entire time.

I'm going to go to my local junk yard to find out how much a set of two Dana 44 axles would be. Does Dave Scott come around often, anymore? I'd like for him to tell us about his SAS build. 4runnernomore, thank you for posting that first link! Very, very helpful.

yeah, the one in the video looked to be using a 10-bolt or mdana 30 for the front... and no body lift. the ohter one looked like Scout Dana 44's and 3" body lift... the one in the video also had different tires... i like simex tires, them are cool...
anyway- any innovation is cool...
