Getting the Wheeling Fever
I agree bombardj1. But looking at that article, it would seem that since the ring and pinion are a direct swap from the sportage to the s2000, there is a good chance that the carrier is the same in both vehicles, with the differences being in how the external housing is made.

Granted, I've never seen the under parts of an s2000, so im not even sure that the rear axles on one spline into the carrier. It may be like a BMW, which has "hubs" (for lack of a better term) on the differential that the axles bolt to.

I believe the S2000 fits the front of the Sportage, just like the Mazda Miata and RX7 units.

GONE, all I have left are a few spare parts and the wheels.

this is what I thought also front not rear,

most LSD look the same, it don't mean it's gonna fit <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> looks only matter when you see a hot chick, a few .001's of a inch off will matter on bearing s and other dia.

Need a Spot
thinking about modifying a lock right to fit but i need to know axle size and spline (i think u guys said 28) any way i have a 28 spline mini spool for a ford 9 wondering if that will fit not that i would want to lock it full time but the burn outs would be awesome
