For those of you that are considering a CAI or snorkel, I found a universal air box that I believe would fit perfect in a Sporty, I Have it in my Jeep, and would have loved to have it when I built my CAI for my Sportage. It's From River Raider, and made of 3/16 Steel plate. Comes in Bare steel, with or without a filter, and has a variety of porting options which makes it very versitile. I won't really get to test it till next spring, hopefully. But that airbox and filter setup looks perfect to make sure it's tight. And a reusable cone filter, good idea.

This is an inexpensive upgrade to a better air filter and box that could be mounted in various locations for a snorkel, ram air, or dual batterie set up. I like it. Go ahead and add it to my wish list. Here's the interior pic. ![[Linked Image]](http://riverraider.biz/images/airbox11.jpg)

If you want more details, sizes etc! I have mine sitting on my work bench, waiting for a warm day to install it. No way am I messing around in the garage when it's -30
Seals well, I'm using black silicone around all the plates and joints to make sure, the filter is a washable afe, but you can get the box without the filter if you already have one or want a diffrent brand $40 cheaper without the filter. Nice thing is it can be mounted almost anywhere, and as for extra plumbing ie: crankcase and valve cover vents, you can run them to the box, just got to drill a hole and put in a pipe or nipple!
And it dosn'r come painted, you going to have to do that yourself, painted nine yellow to match the rest of the jeep!
