My wife is always trying to drag me to some sensitive relationship based movie and I was very surprised to find one that I finally liked, It's Complicated.

Staring, Meryl Streep,Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin. If you have to go to one any time soon and have a choice, I highly recommend it <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

We just watched Julie and Julia, and it was nice, too. Another Streep movie. Damn that woman is good. I used to watch Julia Child and she nailed that one of a kind voice.

Some do. In Texas they have the Alamo Drafthouse, at least one in Austin and one in Houston that I know of. It's great, they serve you beer & food right in the theater. Decent beer selection included Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Guinness, etc. My homebrew club went to the Houston location a few times.

Here in VA there's the Arlington Cinema Drafthouse. Seattle has the Central Cinema. Problem with these two is they don't show the most current movies. The one here has movies that came out 6-12 months ago and IIRC the one in Seattle showed stuff way older. Alamo in Houston always had at least some new releases.

69', car loveliness is in the eye of the beholder. I had a buddy who had a brand new '67 as a graduation present, and I got to drive it, and always lusted after that car. I was the driver in the drag races, and that baby would get it. Best handling of the muscle cars by far. I just never got into the big butted later models as GM made everybody work off the same base body as the Chevelle. I drove a Hurst later on, and while very nice, just not the same ride.

Probably my all time fave Olds was the 57 2dr Rocket 88 my father had, red on red, and it would kick the butt of any 57 Chebby, including a Power Pack 327.

Now, back to the movie...
