i was reading the sticky on how to lift a sportage and wanted to know where you could find these drop brackets or if you had to fab them yourself

Dave makes them. You could probably fab them yourself, or you could buy some extension coupling nuts with bolts (that will get you to the same results) from me for $15 + shipping from me.
