A Point of Moderator Privilege - 01/20/11 02:01 AM
Because several of you have known her over the years, I need to let you know that my wife Linda passed away peacefully this afternoon. My daughters and I made the only decision possible, to withdraw life support. She has been hospitalized since December 21st. She suffered a pulmonary arrest on Sunday evening and was resuscitated, but she was only kept alive by extraordinary means.

Prayers and sympathy for you and your family Jim. While it was the only possible decision, I'm sure that it was far from an easy one.

While I've met very few of you in person, there is a kinship from being on this board so many years.
I echo the above; my condolences on your loss.
