Personal Notes from Mike:
Feep YJ-5 History
Basically, I started in 1995 with a $500 midwest rust bomb. I picked the tub off in two pieces without removing any bolts or cutting anything. First go around I rebuilt the 258, reskinned a replacement body, and did a general frame off restoration, with little in the way of modifications. Since then I'm on my 4th set of axles, third tcase, second engine, countless shocks and springs, and so on.... All the while, the only thing I haven't done with my own two hands is bend the dual exhaust for the 302. (I don't have a tubing bender) What I have left of the original Jeep is the frame, dash panel, and seats

Worst Stuck
My worst stuck was some ridiculous mud hole at '600 acres' near Solon, IA. I have since 'retired' from mud.
