| Advanced Air Systems New Superflow HP Regulator |
I have owned a Power Tank from Advanced Air Systems for the last couple of years, and I have to say that it is one of the best investments I have made for my Jeep. I have an onboard air set-up already, but I only use it when I have run out of CO2 in my tank. One of the "side effects" to bringing a Power Tank with you on the trail is you become very popular at camp when it is time to air back up.
Steve Sasaki at Advanced Air Systems was not satisfied having the quickest tire fill up times in the west, so he went and improved them. Advanced Air has released their new SuperFlow HP Regulator for the Power Tank. It features easier to read yellow gauges, a billet aluminum body, a never-lose regulator seal, and a soft rubber knob for an improved grip. In addition to these great features they also managed to make it 33% faster than its Predecessor with no signs of freeze clogging.
Below are some tire fill up times from 15-25psi with the new Superflow HP Regulator:
30x9.50x15 |
11 Seconds |
32x11.50x15 |
15 Seconds |
33x12.50x15 |
20 Seconds |
35x12.50x15 |
25 Seconds |
37x12.50x17 |
31 Seconds |
37x12.50x15 |
38 Seconds |
39x15.00x15 |
55 Seconds |
42x15.00x15 |
75 Seconds |
A PT-10 Tank complete with the new SuperFlow HP Regulator can air up (30) 35x12.50x15 tires from 15-25psi, and the PT-15 will fill (45) tires before needing a refill.
