The Hot Tub, on Hell's Revenge Moab Easter Jeep Safari 2002
The staff at 4x4Wire are at the mecca of Moab, Utah, providing awesome same-day trail coverage from the 35th Annual Red Rock 4-Wheelers Easter Jeep Safari. Throughout the week of EJS, we'll deliver coverage from trails like Hells Revenge, Cliffhanger, and Upper Helldorado. This is the next best thing to being there in person!
Photo by: John Nutter Flat Skid plate install on a Jeep TJ
Do you need more ground clearance on your TJ but don't want to add more suspension lift or bigger tires? A flat skid plate may be the answer for you. We will take you through the install of a flat skid plate and the other parts necessary to make it work, and as a bonus we will show you what we did to improve ground clearance under the gas tank at the same time.
Project SkyMiles "Phase II"
Project SkyMiles "Phase II" is a combination of upgrades designed to strengthen the Cherokee XJ, make it more versatile, and position the Jeep for future upgrades. The main pillars of Phase II are the addition of a Klune-V 4:1 planetary underdrive and the switch to a Dana 44 rear axle. The upgrade was far from a simple two-step upgrade, however.

Nestled in the Flint Hills of Eastern Kansas is one of the best Midwest locations for adventuring off-road. Located at the NW end of Tuttle Creek Reservoir, just East of the town of Randolph, off of Secrest Road. A Friend in Need... 'Wheelers Unite
Scott Phillips had a well-built Jeep CJ-7 a few years back, but his frame and body rusted right out from under him... life priorities drove his resources elsewhere, and retired the Jeep into storage. Scott stayed active in the 4x4 community, judging at ARCA and UROC, pitching in to help other 'wheelers, and working On Land Use issues, but the time and money never came together to get this Jeep out of storage... until a group of friends got together to unite donated parts from California with Scott's old Utah Jeep parts. These friends donated time, dollars, and shop space -- it’s amazing how things just seem to work out when good people get involved to help someone out, especially 4-wheelers around the holidays.
