Explorer Pro Comp lift components.

In this age of aftermarket suspension products it seems that some manufactures are primarily interested in only raising vehicles touting phrases such as "factory ride", "factory geometry", "factory alignment specs" and our personal favorite "performance kits" and "Specialists". Explorer Pro Comp, the "Competitive Edge"™ technology industry leader has looked deep into the abyss of two wheel drive after market "lift kits" and has determined that the "old technology" has some critical flaws that result in bad handling characteristics and premature tire wear to say the least. The goal was to design a complete system that will give your truck a 3-inch lift and exceed the performance and durability of the "original equipment". After months of R&D and prototyping the goal was achieved with the high standards of new "Chromoly Series" line of complete Suspension Systems from Explorer Pro Comp. The Chromoly Series for 2WD GMC/Chevy start with a pair of billet aluminum blocks that mount in the factory location, and allow the vehicles alignment to be adjusted just as the stock units. These blocks then allow the upper pivot point to be relocated downward to lower the entire arc of the upper control arm to work in a lifted trucks new ride height. Designed in conjunction with the billet aluminum blocks are a pair of upper control arms fabricated from 4130 chromoly tubing, a formed ball joint plate outfitted with 3/8" grade 8 bolts, rather than the OE 5/16" rivets. The arms are MIG-welded with a special wire for maximum strength and TIG-welded in critical areas. The arm utilizes aircraft rod ends, more commonly known as "Heim Joints" that are serviceable and accept grease to prolong the life of Teflon lining. The brake lines are fastened to the control arm with a stainless "Adel clamp" that is also lined with Teflon to eliminate chafing and the possibility of a brake line failure.

Massive components actually improve the stock front-end geometry.

As we put the first kit through a rigorous battery of test we realized that we had a very comfortable drivability not found with any other lifted two wheel drive that we tested. Use this kit in conjunction with our nodular iron spindles, rear long add a leafs, blocks with u-bolts, and 4 ES 3000 shock absorbers to achieve a complete Stage 2 Pro Ride inch System.

Please look for more on this and other new outstanding product from Explorer Pro Comp. A true technological breakthrough from a company with a reputation for quality and innovation.
