Roadless Gear, LLC announced today the release of their new product for off-road enthusiasts: the Dash Mounted Winch Control Kit. This kit allows for easy operation of just about any model winch from the safety and comfort of the vehicle's cab. By simply throwing a couple of switches, the vehicle's operator can control winch power out and power in functions without the need to exit the vehicle and hook up the factory remote and run the wire over the hood and through the window.

"For sure, this is not a new idea," claims Lora Madonna, Office Manager for Roadless Gear, LLC. "For years, guys and gals have experimented with rigging up switches on their dashboards to drive the winch. What is new is that we have taken all the guesswork out of this modification. We have packaged it into an off the shelf product that just about anybody can install in less than an hour."

The kit includes a lighted "Armed/Unarmed" switch for safety - the dash unit will not operate unless armed to prevent accidentally bumping the switch and activation of the winch. It also includes a "Power In" / "Power Out" switch that functions identical to factory remote switch. These switches are packaged in a compact (2" x 3") and attractive dash plate that can be mounted in dash or below dash (mounting hardware not included).

These features combined with a 6 foot wiring harness to connect the winch solenoids and complete illustrated instructions make this a truly "turn-key" product.

"This is the one accessory every winch owner should have in his vehicle," touts Madonna.
