Rockstomper ups the ante on heavy-duty tie rods for 4x4s with their new Rock Rod. Made from sturdy DOM steel tube, with applications to fit fullsize and compact trucks, the Rock Rod is the perfect answer to weak, wimpy OEM tie rods.

Starting with a base tube of 1.25" 0.219-wall DOM tubing, Rockstomper crafts Rock Rods to meet or exceed the strength requirements of any application. For applications in which clearance is critical, the rods are left as is; if heavy abuse requires and space on the vehicle permits, then Rockstomper adds an suplementary full-length sleeve of 1.5" 0.120-wall DOM tubing for additional strength.

Applications currently include Chevy, Ford, and Toyota straight axle trucks and sport-utes, and further applications include crossover-steering drag links. Other new applications are under development, as well.
